Accessibility
It’s important to us that everyone can attend and enjoy M/FW.
We are always looking for ways we can improve access and inclusion across the event to ensure it is a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone. You can find key accessibility information about specific events and venues on the individual event pages below.
This year we’ve worked closely with specialist access and inclusion consultants – Get Skilled Access – to help us improve the accessibility of our event spaces for our staff and visitors.
M/FW ’23 will be incorporating the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme assisting those with hidden disabilities. People who need assistance can wear a Sunflower symbol so trained staff can offer help. Email mfw@melbourne.vic.gov.au to pre-order your sunflower lanyard, or collect one City of Melbourne Tourism Hubs at Melbourne Town Hall, Bourke Street Mall, Fitzroy Gardens and Queen Victoria Market or from any ticketing counter during the event. To learn more about the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme click here.
If you have any questions relating to accessibility, please don’t hesitate to contact us at mfw@melbourne.vic.gov.au or speak to one of our helpful staff members at the event.
We can also be contacted via the National Relay Service on 1300-555-727.
